Items discussed:

1. EPA Background Study • EPA is making sure to coordinate the activities of the Background Study with the Cleaning Pilot. • Sampling issues still need to be worked out. If critical decisions need to be made, they will be brought to the Working Group’s next meeting. • Buildings outside of Manhattan (potentially impacted) will not be included al this time. • A draft statement of work will be available by April 26'^. It will be shared with the Working Group at the next meeting. • The study will include porous and non-porous materials including walls and ceilings.

2. EPA Cleaning Effort • The workplan is close to completion and should be available by April 1Q* or early the following week. It will be distributed to the Working Group for discussion at the next meeting.
