Scope of Work B
Application: A visual inspection was performed and large or significant accumulations of dust or debris
from the collapse of the WTC was observed in common areas, residences or portions thereof (such as
windows, terraces or balconies).
Residents will not be allowed in the work area. Residents may be present in the rg^ence during
cleaning in cases where the work area can be isolated by the erection of isolation bi B^s. In all other
applications of Scope B it is assumed that residents will not be ||esent in theresi ice.
1. A site specific work plan will be prepared by the cleaning contractor for f Bi^and appro^I
by EPA prior to the start of work. This work plan will include detailed ocedures for the

removal of dust and debris and the cleaning. At a minimum the procedi s specmed for a

2. An asbestos project notification form (NYC form ACP-7) shi Il submitted, as required by
Title 15, Chapter 1 of the Rules of the City of New York (RC 0, directly to the NYC DEP
Asbestos Control Program prior to the start ofiWork. NYs OL notification shall also be
subnritted.
