Kathy,
Just a reminder that the walkthrough with our asbestos/HVAC consultants took place last Friday for 125 Cedar Street. We should have recommendations to share with you sometime this week. In the walkthrough, it was clear that some items like floors can be taken up and cleaned, but putting them back in the same condition will be problematic. The same is true with ceiling tiles and some items particular to certain apartments. We will probably have to sit down with the building owner to see if he might be in a position to replace with new materials.
DOH will check out the mold issue this week, just awaiting time and date from tenants' representatives. (Krish has already formulated a plan to address the mold based on his observation.) We will need to incorporate your requirements, sampling methods, etc., for metals, mercury and dioxin this week. Once this all happens, we will be in a position to share with tenants, etc.
