Linda,

This is to confirm our conversation yesterday that 114 Liberty Street will be cleaned as an unoccupied building. We expect to follow the same procedures as 125 Cedar. As more info is available, I will let you know.

Michael“This note is to confirm our conversation earlier today regarding 114 Liberty St. The building, which has been unoccupied since September 11, 2001, is a condominium, with both residential and commercial units. The building has heretofore not been on an EPA or DEP list of unoccupied buildings. As we discussed, it is in need of a comprehensive, site-specific cleanup for contaminants present in WTC dust and debris. much as 125 Cedar is in the process of receiving. I have spoken with the building's Managing Agent. Denise Sweeney, and she will be calling you to discuss commencing the process of designing and doing a cleanup of the building's interiors. It is urgent that 114 Liberty St, receive the proper attention from the DEP and the EPA. something that has been sorely lacking to this point. I will call you tomorrow to continue the discussion. Thank you.
