Ridge Hill is a 273,000-square-foot building owned by the Yonkers IDA and set on an 84-acre campus which belongs to the New York State Office of General Services. It offers abundant parking and laboratory, manufacturing and warehouse space. Tenants interested in permanent relocation to Ridge Hill can make arrangements with the Ridge Hill Development Corporation. OG5 Commissioner Kenneth J. Ringler, Jr. said, "This office space will help small businesses remain viable as they recover from the World Trade Center attack. OGS is proud to have worked closely with other State agencies and The private sector to provide this space." The Small Business Recovery Center is easily accessible and only 15 minutes from midtown Manhattan. It is located just off New York State Thruway Exit 6A, with easy access from the Saw Mill River Parkway and the Sprain Brook Parkway, as well as public transportation, Amtrak and Metro North rail lines. The New York State 1-800-I LOVE NY helpline for businesses affected by the attack has received more than 7,200 calls from small businesses looking for - assistance, including 288 calls specifically for relocation assistance, since its activation on Sept. 13.
