Re: Party Wall Clarification Letter

Dear Mr. Radhakrishnan: ~ T•N The Owner's Engineer has determined that the party wall between' l3-135 Greenwich Street and the brick building to the north (120 Cedar Street) will remain. Per discussions with NYC DEP this does not represent a change in procedure or filing status as these materials will be decontaminated (HEPA vacuumed, wet-wiped) and encapsulated just as all other structural and fagade materials are being treated.

There currently is no space between the two party walls. The selective demo will only occur after the decontamination of the building is complete. 133 Greenwich Street's party wall will be will be wet-wiped, HEPA vacuumed, and encapsulated with a penetrating encapsulant. Prior to :commencement of conventional demolition, the remaining building components (anticipated to be principally wood framing and masonry fagade) will have been tested by the Environmental Consultant for ACM content and RCRA characteristics, as noted in the Waste Management Plan (Part IV) and As noted in Section 7.4 of the Work Plan (Part I). These materials will be handled and disposed of as appropriate based on the test results.

Enclosed are drawings depicting the selective demolition.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Sincerely,

Michael Porter Michael Porter Senior Project Manager
