Dear Ms. Tota:
As part of your participation in EPA's Indoor Air Residential Assistance - World Trade Center
Dust Cleanup Program, we conducted an evaluation of the heating ventilation air conditioning
(HVAC) and exhaust systems within your building. The report of our findings indicating
cleaning is warranted is attached for your reference.
At this time, we request you sign the attached access agreement to allow EPA to conduct
cleaning of your HVAC and/or exhaust systems.
In order to remain eligible for the program, EPA must receive the signed agreement by February
27, 2003. Failure to return a signed agreement will be considered a withdrawal of your request.
If you choose to withdraw from the HVAC and exhaust cleaning aspect of the program, we will
contact you to schedule cleaning of the common areas that have not been scheduled yet pending
your decision regarding the HVAC cleaning.
PIease feel free to contact me at (212) 637-3121 or Eric Wilson at (212) 637-3150 if you have
any questions. We look forward to your cooperation. Thank you.
Sincerely,
r
