Re: WTC-ARC Kiss Construction Inc.
Attention: Dilshad As per our conversation earlier today the following is a list of items that Kiss Construction Inc. would like to bring to your attention:
1. Apartment Size Kiss Construction Inc. has completed work in apartments that are oversized. In some cases two apartments have been converted into one large apartment for example one apartment completed earlier this week was over 3,600 square feet. 2. Balconies/Terraces The average size balcony/terrace is 20 Square feet (walkout). In some apartments that KCI has already completed, the balcony/terrace has exceeded the average size. In some apartments the balcony/terrace is 600 square feet or more which KCI would regard as a patio/deck. 3. Carpet Removing carpet with 9x9 VAT Tiles underneath will cause: • A Hazardous Situation • Glue (mastic) to remain on the substrate: Kiss Construction Inc. will not be held responsible for the removal of the glue, edging around the perimeter of the room or the door saddles. • Damage to the substrate: KCI will not be held responsible for any damage due to the removal of the glued on carpet. The removal of carpet from the common spaces was not mentioned in the NYC DEP contract scope of work, KCI did not make allowances for this in our bid. 4. Manifest Kiss Construction Inc. has not yet been given the details for the manifest.
