1. The worker deeontam3.natioa unit ,shall be conatrueted outside the work area'in accordance with 15 RlYY 3 1-82, and attached to individua), glovebag work areas (or tents) or common space leading to individual work areas.

2. The remote worker decontamination unit .shall consist of, at least, a shower roam, and a clean room separated from each other by an airlock and from the glovebag wor4c area.

3. The remote waste decontamination wait. ®hall be constructed in accordance with 15 Rt~1 s 1-83, located outmidee the glovebag work area on the same- floor.

4. The decontamination units shall be. maintained in accordance with 15 Rau[ 11-94 (except stub-section b). .

5. All asbestos handlers shall wear two disposable suits, inolud.4ng gloves, hood and footwear, and appropriate reepAratory equipment, after removing street, clothes in the clean -room.

a. 7. Each worker, before leaving the glovebag .work arm (or tent) , ' shall olean the outside of the respirators and cuter protecting clothing by wet: cleaning end/or =VA vacuuming. The outer disposable suit shall be. removed' in the work area an the • workers shall theca proceed to the Shower room. The Lunar disposable suit and respirator shall be washed thoroughly before reeooving and prior to aggressive shower.

a. The decontamination units shall be in place for the entire duration of the ebateerteaq activities. .

®. The following additional conditions must be complied with in order to re-use the attached decontamination enclosure systems as remote decontamination wdita.

i) Final air clearance must be habiieved.in•the full cent2imment area to which the • decontarinetion enclosure syotems axe attached. i i) The deaoflra n9.awtion enclosure systems shall be xe-plasticized in accordan with 15 RQI)tid 1-82 and S 1-a3.
