It was then inspected by Dennis Antzoulatos to ensure that cleaning was ready to begin. The facade cleaning started at 8 am with the use of a bucket truck and two handlers. John Boyd, the air monitor from Warren & Panzer was present. A remote "decon" was built set up in a truck on Broadway. Later in the day the south & north side facade cleaning begun with the use of small lifts. However, a ledge at the top could not be reached with the lifts. It was then recommended that piece of 2 by 4 or similar object be attached to the sprayer so as to reach the edge. This was done and the contractor was able to reach the ledge. In the mean time, the front facade was inspected by Dennis and required more cleaning. The final inspection was performed by Carlstien Lutchmedial.

On July 21, 2002 work started on the north facade and the dirt removal on the south side. Later in the evening work continued on the west facade and the and the south facade. Work went ahead as scheduled final visual was performed by the air monitor and DEP second inspection it was found to be free of WTC debris. Project is completed both roof and facade. The site was monitored by Dennis White, Rammohan, Lutchmedial, and Antzoulatos.
