Re: Environmental Testing Page 5 of 5

Similar dust conditions were observed in the southwest corner of the second floor, and in the Women's Toilet on the 5th and 6th floors. In each of these locations the windows were left open and surfaces are covered with dust. H. A. Bader Consultants will be performing a thorough visual inspection in the near future to identify additional areas within the building which may have also been subjected to excessive dust infiltration. The areas with excessive dust should be thoroughly wet cleaned and/or HEPA vacuumed. Porous surfaces (carpeting, upholstered furniture, etc.) which can not be thoroughly cleaned should be discarded. All asbestos cleanups should be performed by certified asbestos handlers. Post asbestos testing should be performed prior to re- occupancy.

This testing indicates that with the exception of localized areas with open windows, asbestos contamination is not present on surfaces in the interior of the building. As a precaution, prior to re-occupancy all horizontal surfaces in the building should be wet cleaned and/or HEPA vacuumed. This work can be performed by regular cleaning personnel.

The air samples indicate that at the current time it is safe for essential personnel to occupy the building. The HVAC systems should not be operated until they are cleaned and retested. If you have any questions, please call.

Sincerely,

(-] 0-- q Howard A. Bader, P.E. President
