• Open air spaces will be treated with a wet fog chemical counteractant.
This will absorb and neutralize the concrete dust along with the smoke
odor particles.
• Deodorizing agents will be added to all cleaning solutions to counteract
the concrete dust along with the smoke odor particles that have
permeated all surfaces and fabrics.
• The individual units will he deodorized by a wet application.

Q. Open Air loot; — Treatment of open air spaces with an atomized particulate
deodorizer; specifically designed to remove the odor from the air and not just to mask
it.
R. Environmental Control System Negative air machines will be used in corridors,
individual apartments and in common areas during the time that we are cleaning that
particular area. Negative air machines use I IRPA filtration to filter the concrete dust
and soot fallout from the air inside the units to the outside air.
S. l:levator Shafts — The elevator maintenance company should he contacted. Their
personnel will need to accompany us in conducting an inspection of the shaft from the
top of the car. From past experience, the shaft will need to be HEPA vacuumed,
cleaned with degrease and then deodorized. It is imperative that our work is
completed prior to regular service to the elevator to prevent further contamination of
the concrete dust and soot by the bellows effect of the elevator movement.
'l'. Basement •- All walls, ceilings, flooring and equipment will be HEPA vacuumed.

vacuumed, cleaned and deodorized.

fixtures. 'These will be cleaned with degreaser. rinsed and deodorized. All carpets
will he steam-cleaned. This will be one of the first tasks addressed along with the last
because they will he re-cleaned upon the re-opening of the building.
