This inspection was the continued monitoring of the DEP clean-up activities at the site. All work to be performed
in accordance with contracts WTC-LBC and WTC-LBA. Clarifications and updates were provided to the
contractors and residents by e-mail. Copies of correspondence to be incorporated with these inspection reports.
The Project Monitor Mr. Raymond Sculer and the site supervisor Mr. Marek Jendroska (S Cert. #91763) were
present on site at my arrival. Certificates were checked. The following workers were present: handlers

The workers exited the work area prior to my entering the area. The site supervisor Indicated they were taking a
lunch break. I commented that It was just after 10:00 A.M. and that it appeared they exited due to my arrival. He
stated that it was not the case, it was break time because they started work early.
I entered the work area with the project monitor and the site supervisor. On the 12th floor, I noted that although the
demolition of sheetrock walls was completed, the wall by the interior stairs south side (above dining area) was not
removed. The wallpaper had been partially removed. The ducts had been removed on the 11th and 12th floors.
The work was done with minimal disruption to the ceiling supports. The wall studs were in good condition.
Demolition was completed with care. At the sixth floor, I noted the duct observed during my previous visit. The
duct was a vertical duct. The area behind the access panel appeared to be an electrical conduit.
Some repair to isolation barriers and the negative air pressure equipment ducting was necessary. The electrical
supply (shut off of all house power and temporary power) still required correction. When asked specific questions
regarding the work the site supervisor indicated, the other supervisor had instructed him on what activities to
perform and that he was not familiar with the previous su rvisors'activities.
