Mr. Bernard P. Orlan September 19, 2002 Wipe Samples for PCBs Page 2 P.S. 124M ATC Protect No 15-19125-0350

Results

ATC submitted three (3) samples for PCBs to PSC for analysis. A copy of the analytical laboratory report is provided in the Attachment.

The samples were analyzed for seven PCB compounds with differing percentages of chlorine.

The PCB result for all the samples were below the reporting limits (2.0 micrograms/sample) for ±e analysis.

Currently, the Environmental Protection Agency spill clean-up standard for PCBs on non-porous surfaces is 10 micrograms per 100 square centimeters or less (<10ug/100cm^) as stated in 40 CFR 761.

It is our pleasure to provide these indoor environmental services to the New York City Department of Education. If you have any questions about this report, please call (212) 353-8280, extension 370 or 212.

Sincerely, ATCASSOCIATES INC. Reviewed
