Cleaning Protocol for Ceiling Mounted (Ducted) Un it-Ventilators 1) V&R to cut l'x2' access panels into duct work on either side of Unit Ventilator. 2) V&R to clean intake duct work and seal exterior louver. 3) V&R will drill 1" diameter hole at bottom of fan unit housing to allow access to clean unit fan and housing. 4) Kiss Construction will isolate Unit Ventilator from duct work with 6 mil. Poly Isolation Barriers. 5) Kiss Construction to clean top (adjacent to deck) of Unit Ventilator. 6) Kiss Construction to construct tent enclosure around the Unit Ventilator. 7) Kiss Construction will remove fiberglass insulation from inside the Unit Ventilator. 8) Tent enclosure is placed under negative pressure. 9) Kiss Construction proceed to clean Unit Ventilator. 10) Taylor Environmental Group, Inc. will perform visual inspection of the Unit Ventilator and interior of tent enclosure. 11) If no visible dust or debris is observed, Taylor will collect Lead Wipe Sample from Unit Ventilator r. I 12) If visual inspection fails, Taylor will instruct Kiss Construction to re-clean unit and Taylor will perform an additional visual inspection and retest as per Step #11. n i 1 If wipe sample results pass the BOE/SCA clearance criteria (less than or equal 13) to 20 pg/fF) Kiss Construction shall isolate the unit by enclosing the entire LJ unit with 6 Mil poly sheeting. 14) If wipe sample results fail the BOE/SCA clearance criteria (exceed 20 pg/ft^) re-clean unit and re-sample /Vote: Un/t Vent//ator w/// be /cept /so/ated from duct wor/( unt/7 ]/&R bas comp/etect c/een/ng t/ie ec/jacent c/oct work anct re~/nsta//ec/ tke Un/t Vent/fator.
