Silverstein Properties has informed me that they have approved an alternate path for the fuel line. Ambassador Construction is in the process of pricing this work. Should we approve this cost after talking to J Hauer, in view of his opinion that Swanke should be financially responsible for the " design error". With regard to OEMs request to have DCAS process payment for the "metro traffic" work, I spoke to DSI,inc, the company that invoiced OEM, and they faxed me a contract that OEM signed.( Jim Atkinson, who was in charge of financial matters but no longer works for OEM ). Based on limited information provided by John Hughes, it seems that Metro networks , located at the empire state building , a non city entity has through a Mr Danny Toy given approval to use a port from his switcher, so that OEM can tune in to traffic news. I took the liberty trying to analyse the contract which requires OEM to file for a license, make arrangements to get a phone line or data circuit between the Ian room at 7 WTC and the 87th floor of the empire state building. Please advise. Regarding the roof shed, Mr Hauer is insisting that Swanke pay the design cost to reinforce the shed to withstand Cat5 hurricane winds. Swanke is not willing to bear this responsibility, this also applies to the adding of the DOT feeds. So , while Jerry feels that DCAS should complete this work, he does not want to pay additional design fees and the work remains uncompleted This basically covers OEM
