Section 219 of the New York City Charter and directives of the Mayor authorized thereunder require that prior to the initiation of design or advancement of any Capital Project, a scope defining services to be incorporated in contracts for the services of architects, engineers, landscape architects, etc., or for departmental employees and amounts for structures, works, furnishings and equipment, program of requirements and scope or range of operations shall be submitted for approval of the Director of Management and Budget or his duly authorized representative. Initially, preliminary scope approval and subsequently final scope approval incorporating preliminary plaris and cost limitations shall be submitted for approval of the Director of Management and Budget or his duly authorized representative. In addition, the final design incorporating final contract documents must also be submitted for approval of the Director of Management and Budget or his duly authorized representative. Your request for approval pursuant to the above is approved as follows;

This approves a cost limitation not to exceed $12,619,128 for MOEM to be located at 7 World Trade Center on the 23rd and 7th floors. This project, CAPIS ID PW-3261346, will be charged to Budget Line PW-326. This is a 100% city funded project.

This approval is subject to the terms of the City of New York. Office of the Comptroller’s, "Revised Directive 10 - Charges to the Capital Budget," dated April 25.1979. and July 12,1991, or later revision if issued.

This approval is for a cost linjit&tion not to exceed $12,619,128 for Construction work as detailed in the attached request dated March 30,1998, submitted by rhe Department of Citywide Administrative Services.
