SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: Smother flames with one of the above extinguishing media. Water may be used to cool down unopened containers in vicinity.
SECTION V - HEALTH HAZARD DATA
THRESHOLD LIMIT VALUE See Section II EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE: ACUTE: Irritation of eyes and skin may occur with overexposure. Continued breathing of vapors may irritate respiratory tract causing headache, nausea and dizziness. CHRONIC: Reports have associated repeated and prolonged overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and nervous system damage. EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES: INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. Restore respiration if necessary Treat symptomatically. EYE CONTACT: Flush immediately with copious quantities of water for 15 minutes minimum. Consult a physician. DERMAL CONTACT: Wash affected areas with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Consult physician if irritation persists. INGESTION: Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water to dilute DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. If spontaneous vomiting occurs keep head at or below knee level to prevent aspiration into lungs. Consult physician or poison control center immediately.
