REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES

General Vendor Requirements

The project team intends to conduct a formal evaluation and selection process. To ensure that all proposals receive a fair and complete evaluation, and requires that proposers answer all questions completely and do not deviate from the instructions in this RFP.

1. General Guidelines

All proposers must adhere to the following guidelines:

A. All proposers must submit complete technical and cost proposals according to the guidelines provided in this RFP. Proposals which deviate from the instructions and format without advance written permission from Silverstein Properties Inc. will not be considered.

B. Proposers should indicate in their proposal who the primary contact person will be for all correspondence related to this proposal.

C. The proposed work must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, ordinances, codes, and rules of any governmental entities that have jurisdiction. The Proposer will reimburse Silverstein Properties Inc. for all losses, expenses, and damages to the extent arising from violations of any of the above laws, regulations, ordinances, codes, and rules.

D. Proposers are cautioned to base their primary submission on a minimum fee cost approach consistent with the basic needs as defined in this RFP.

2. Disclaimers

Silverstein Properties Inc. may choose, at its sole option, to negotiate with one or more of the Proposers or to solicit other proposals and/or approaches. Silverstein Properties Inc. will not be responsible under any circumstances for any costs incurred by respondents in the generation and submission of proposals, site visits, presentations, documents, or marketing literature. All proposals and accompanying documentation will become the property of Silverstein Properties Inc. and will not be returned.

Reasonable efforts will be made to limit circulation of proprietary material submitted by Proposers to Silverstein Properties Inc. personnel. Silverstein Properties Inc. will attempt to safeguard but will not be responsible for the disclosure to unauthorized parties of proprietary material submitted by Proposers. To minimize the risk of disclosure of such
