Dear Ms. Gilberti:
We are in receipt of the Cost-Estimate for the referenced project as submitted to your office by
Ambassador Construction dated May 27,1998 and received by this office on May 28, 1998.
This office has reviewed the bid package and in order to approve the costs please provide the
following clariflcations/confirmations to various itemized cost items for further review and subsequent
approval.
1. Please clarify if the cost represented in the submitted bid package is based on the drawings and
clarifications listed in addenda. 1. Attached herewith.
2. As indicated in the lease, three competitive bids are required to be submitted for each
trade. There are various items of work that have only one or two bids.
3. Also, several items that would constitute General Conditions are itemized separately.
4. Please confirm if the cost estimate includes the cost for the Tenant’s use of the fuel pipes
now installed in the building.
5. In the cost estimate there is and allocated costs of S4,S00 towards Generator Tests with no
back up. However, there is also a costs for Generator Testing in the Electric Trade bid. Please
clarify.
6. General comments. See attached Exhibit “X”
