Dear Mr. Klein:

We are herewith requesting your approval of Capital Funds for Furniture, Radio, Telecommimications and LAN Systems and Moving Expenses to be provided under the requirements contract system.

The space totaling 50,182 rentable square feet is to be reconstructed by the Landlord under 0MB CP Certificate #37836 for $12,619,128, and shall be used by the Mayor’s Office of Emergency Management. Under normal circumstances 45 employees will be working in the new facilities. However, under serious emergency situations personnel from all City agencies will be summoned to the Emergency Operation Center, and consequently the occupancy could reach 150 people. The term of the Lease will expire on January 2018, and the Landlord is 7 World Trade Company, L.P.

This project requires new furniture only for the 23"“ floor.
