VL Project Schedule TKLP

What do you see as potential conflicts or problems with this approach? What solutions do you offer? There are times when a plan is done and staffing is planned, that the production system be comes rigid and changes are difficult to be handled. We recognize this and have adopted an estimated deviation notice (EDN) system where when changes are introduced from whatever platform, we define the impacts on the schedule, engineering cost, and construction cost. We immediately bring this to the senior management's attention to see whether this is something that must be included in the project or not, or if we want to substitute or remove something else in order to accommodate it. Forcing it to upper management provides a clear line of direc tion and a proper line of direction if a project is to be imder control and allows TKLP to remain flexible by replanning, with your approval, to achieve what is necessary. The other problem that can happen is a slowness in receiving approvals or a lack of compliance to schedule and information flow or poorly conceived information that changes. This well- thought-out plan provides a platform to know where these problems are occurring so they can be dealt with by the management team and, in fact, enhances our ability to manage success.

Describe your design schedule control during all relevant project phases. How often is the schedule reviewed and updated? The above explains the schedule control. The schedule is updated based on need. We integrate change dynamically as things take place. We keep a schedule on the computer; and as an EDN is approved, we immediately integrate the change. So, in essence, the schedule is reviewed and updated dynamically. It is only on major changes that we would do a total update and replanning of the project.
