the completeness and coordination of the documents as well as serving as a final check for constructability of the work. d. Review of Work Product: An independent review of all work products and deliverables is undertaken by two principals of TKLP, a senior architect and engineer, whose principal responsibility in the firm is quality assurance, i.e., they have no direct client commitments which could potentially detract from their quality assurance functions. A written report is submitted to the CEO, President, and project team, and a written response is required before work products are given to our clients.

What experience have you had in working with multiple designers utilizing a team approach? What were the success and problem areas? TKLP did the MEP design, both core and shell and fitout, with SOM on the Shearson Lehman Brothers project. The project proved to be a very successful project. A great deal of the success is attributed to two very professional consultants. A good deal of the success, however, was a result of a very structured reliability program that TKLP ran that brought to light the needs of the architecture and the engineering systems to provide the data center with reliable building services. This created a reliability plan that the two companies could work to. In addition, the client's management was familiar with both architectural and engineering design and actively participated.

How zvill you assure constructability of your design? TKLP's estimating department is made up of individuals who came fron; the construction business. They review our documentation as it is being developed and at the conclusion of the deliverables for constructability. A. Ralston's background and family came from the construc­ tion industry. He will be reviewing all deliverables before they come to you for constructability and maintainability. Mike Timmons, our reliability engineer, spent 15 years in construction prior to coming to TKLP. His last project was the MEP for a large nuclear power station. He will be reviewing the documentation for constructability, reliability, and maintainability.

TKLP's internal quality control and quality assurance process includes constructability re­ views. Our field department, made up of individuals with construction industry backgrounds, review constructability.
