V. Scope of Services / Approach TKLP
9. Change Orders—TKLP will prepare the necessary clarification, notifications, and change
orders required during the normal construction process. They will review the MEP
contractor's submittals and evaluate the scope of work.
10. TKLP will specify that the contractor notifies CDCSA when they are substantially com
plete and request that the MEP design professional provide a punchlist When requested
by CEX3SA, TKLP will prepare a punchlist for the installed items that need correction
b^ause they are not installed in accordance with the design professional's documents.
TKLP has not intended to prepare a "things-to-do list" for the completion of the con
struction project.
11. Agency Approvals — TKLP will submit those necessary documents to the agencies for
the architect's permits.
12. As-Built Drawings — TKLP will specify that the MEP contractors maintain a record set
of documents, both plans and specifications, on the construction site. These documents
will be specified to be marked to show where the various systems were installed as an as-
built condition. At the completion of the project. TKLP will incorporate these markings
on these record drawings into their construction documents as a final revision, entitled
"As-Built Changes."
13. TKLP will specify that the contractor will be required to inform CDCSA when they have
completed the punchlist items. CDCSA will request TKLP to visit the job to verify the
completion of the final checklist. TKLP will do so and report on their findings.
