the * equipment items identified in the RFP. The vendors will be required to submit the results of their tests and the referenced documentation establishing industry standard for tolerances. TKLP cannot, at this point, anticipate whether these factory tests will be successful at the first test or not. TKLP will specify that the vendor will be responsible for all costs, including engineering attendance costs, if his system or equipment must be tested the second time. Since TKLP does not work for the vendor, nor does TKLP want to be dependent upon reimbursement from the vendor. These costs will be reimbursed to CDCSA. TKLP will bill CDCSA for attendance for more than one test as a change order and be reimbursed on that basis.

Construction Administration

1. Bid Support — TKLP's project manager will attend a pre-bid meeting with their client. TKLP's project manager will work with his team to respond to any questions during the bidding period submitted to him by his client. TKLP will prepare addendum to the bid documents where necessary. TKLP has anticipated that CDCSA will have a scoping meet­ ing with the successful bidders. We anticipate the following disciplines will attend each of these meetings: HVAC engineer; instrumentation and controls engineer; plumbing and fire protection engineer; electrical engineer; communication and data cabling engi­ neer with our project manager.

2. Schedules — TKLP's specifications for equipment will request schedules from each ven­ dor to be submitted when bids are received. TKLP will check these schedules to see that they coordinate with the contractor's overall schedule. TKLP will require, by specifica­ tion, that the contractor provide a schedule for shop drawings. TKLP will review this schedule in light of the overall construction schedule and comment if they believe the submitted schedules are inappropriate. TKLP will specify that the contractors provide detailed schedules for their work and the need for delivered equipment. TKLP will at­ tend weekly construction meetings where the contractor, by specification, should review his schedule, work completed, and work to be done. TKLP will comment where they believe delivery and installation of the contractor's work is falling behind schedule.

3. Construction Meetings — TKLP will attend those construction meetings when the MEP work is being installed. TKLP's attendance at this meetings will consist of two people— a project manager and a selected discipline engineer. We anticipate that the MEP work will begin being installed February 1,1993, and extend to March 1,1994, which includes the site commissioning. This includes 13 months or 56 construction meetings.

4. Site Visits and Field Reports — TKLP will visit the site to review the work done. Site visits will be performed by the appropriate engineer for that disciplines. The site visits will be performed by individuals from the following disciplines: HVAC; plumbing/fire
