V. Scope of Services / Approach TKLP

These documents will be submitted to CDCSA for sign off and approval as will the up­ dated budget.

7. TKLP will coordinate their work with all of the other consultants, they will also submit all of their documents to the client and the tenant for their review and approval.

Upon receiving approval, TKLP will proceed into the next phase of work.

Contract Documents

1. TKLP will prepare drawings and specifications for use as construction documents, in­ cluding mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, and local area network systems and security.

2. TKLP will monitor the other consultants' work and coordinate their work with them. TKLP will submit all plans and specifications to FCTPA and tenants for review and ap­ proval. TKLP will prepare the final budgets, which will be their opinion of costs bas^ upon their square foot cost histories and parameter costs. TKLP will use their code con­ sultant, Cole-Gillman Associates, for code reviews and building department meetings. TKLP staff will support.

3. Presentation — TKLP's project director, project manager, mechanical services engineer, electrical engineer, and security/fire alarm engineer will present their documents to the client/tenant and associated agency in a single presentation.

4. Reliability Session — TKLP will make available their project manager, mechanical ser­ vices engineer, electrical engineer, and security/fire alarm engineer for two days to at­ tend a reliability analysis. Since this analysis will be done at the completion of the bid documents, any changes that result from this analysis will be evaluated as to their impact on the already completed documents. If the impact is minor, they will be immediately integrated into the documents. If the impact is major in terms of engineering design costs and budget impacts, TKLP will develop the scope, schedule impact, engineering cost impact, and construction cost impact, and submit this in the form of a change order to the City.

5. During the preparation of the construction documents, TKLP will prepare prepurchase specifications for the listed systems. Each of the prepurchased specifications will include a stated requirement that the vendor must provide performance testing for those items that they can test in the factory. The test criteria will be the scheduled performance crite­ ria. The schedule for testing will be in coordination with the project schedule. The toler­ ances for performance will be gauged against an acceptable criteria from an industry standard. TKLP will have the appropriate engineer attend a single factory test for each of
