Responsibilities As a project manager, Mr. Timmons is responsible for A/E design, system commissioning, construction project management, and building turn-over. Working in cooperation with the project design principal, he coordinates all disciplines through all stages of the project. As the client's primary contact, Mr. Timmons participates in all client meetings and presenta­ tions to ensure continued understanding of the client's needs. In particular, he organizes and conducts strategy sessions with facility engineering and user groups to ascertain the philosophy and real needs of the site utility systems such as reliability, availability, flexibil­ ity; and operating and construction costs. He also organizes and schedules mechanical and electrical closeouts of construction to ensure that the finished work is in accordance with the contract documents. This may entail witnessing equipment and system tests and training.

Mr. Timmons managed a program to implement risk analysis and a reliability plan, produced systems O&M manuals, tested building critical systems and design, and implemented tenant fit-out of critical systems. He also managed eight M&E contractors to change the completion focus of the construction from peak occu­ pancy to system completion including testing. Computer support facilities include an uninterruptable power supply (UPS) system and an auxiliary power supply system. Re­ jected heat from the computers and support equipment is available to heat the additional 600,0(X) SF of administrative office space in the building.

Morgan Stanley, Brooklyn Heights, NY Mr. Timmons was project manager for the TKLP Reliability Program for a 90,000 SF com­ puter center. The program included risk analysis, reliability plan, testing of base building and tenant fit-out critical systems, O&M manuals, training and periodic audits.

United Airlines, Denver, CO Mr. Timmons prepared a reliability program for a 115,000 SF highly sophisticated, secure computer operations center with raised floors, a UPS system, emergency power generation, and a halon fire suppression system and a 2,250 ton mechanical refrigeration chilled water plant.

International Monetary Fund, Washington, DC Expansion and refit-out of an 11,000 SF data center for Burroughs Al 5 mainframe, IBM 3081 mainframe, and two new 9370 mainframes. The program included an analysis of building systems, and development of a strategy for design and construction of the building systems critical to the impact of phasing of construction on ongoing operations.

Viacom International, New York, NY Site selection, design, and project construction management to relocate and expand Viacom's 10,000 SF data operations center. The facility utilized a 3090-200 series system and included a UPS system with battery backup and auxiliary power generation.
