The attached list is the response to the NYFD request for PCB data on transformers at the
WTC. A map of the location of the units is available in the ECC. The quanlily of oil in the units
is as follows:
600 & 560 kva units.........300 gallons
1000 & 1120 kva units....... 450 gallons
2000 & 2240 kva units......590 gallons
2800 kva units. .650 gallons

Transformers - all less than 10 ppm
Based on the information provided by Substations the main compartment of all the transformers for WTC 1 and
WTC 2 substation have less than 10 ppm (some have less than 1). The ones that are listed as <10 ppm are such
because the detection level at the time was 10 ppm.
Large Capacitors - all "zero" PCB
Rectifiers - all dry type
Bushings • no data - May have PCBs
Small capacitors - no data - MAY have PCBs
Company-Owned Transformers within the World Trade
6 AIR-COOLED Transformers - NO OIL
Customer-Owned Transformers
