Sxaw, Jr., P.E., Director of Engineering, Track & Structures National Railroad Passenger Corporation 200 Market Street Philadelphia, PA 19103 RE: West Side Ccmnection, Grading Drainage and Track Construction from West 37th Street to Harlem River, Borough of Manhattan Dear Mr. Sha-w: This in reply to your submittal of contract plans with a letter dated November 18, 1987 regarding the above referenced project. Please be advised of the following comments of this department: 1. On sheets No. T-6 and T-14, the existing sewer into which drainage flow is discharges should be shown. 2. On the profile drawings existing sewers underneath railroad tracks should be shown and their invert elevations indicated. 3. On sheet No. T-19, structural details and calculations for the following items are required. a) Removal of existing manhole by constructing a structural cap. b) Construction of a ncu- manhole on the existing 5'~6''X5'-0" sever.
