Mr. James G. Carlock Acting Manager World Trade Center Palnning One World Trade Center ■ New York, NY 10048

RE: WTC 776.00 Dey Street Escalator and Underpass, Borough of Manhattan

Dear Mr. Carlock:

We have completed review of your plan/specification package of June 29, 1984. The drawings are consistent with those recommendations arrived at during our previous meetings.

We are returning one set of plans with some minor comments marked in red . Comments appear on D-w’gs: C-7, C-9, C-11, C-12.

As you know we have received a proposal from Eli Attia Architects, in con junction with the H.J. Kalikow Hotel. Tliis proposal calls for some sewer modification work at the north building line of Dey Street. We had asked that they contact you regarding coordination of their sewer work with your proposal.

Their proposal originally called for relocating the sewer north of Dey Street into the building area (private property). This would have meant modification to your proposed Manhole No. 3. However, their were several problems with their scheme and it was returned to them on June 19, asking that alternatives be ex amined.
