60" dia. line March 15 thru Nov, 15 20" dia. line - Nov. 15 thru March 15 1.07 EXISTING STRUCTURES AND UTILITIES A. The Subcontractor shall use utmost caution and proper care in the prosecution of the Work to assure the stability of the existing bulkhead walls.. Marginal St., Sewer Outfalls, World Trade Center cooling water facilities, PATH Tubes and other structures, utili­ ties, installations and services. In the event that the Contractor determines that any such structure or installations have been damaged as a result of the Subcontractor's operations, repairs or replacement shall be performed to the satisfaction of the Contrac­ tor and the Owners of the property, all at the sole cost and expense of the Subcontractor. 1.08 RULES FOR WELDING AND BURNING A., The Subcontractor shall secure a copy of the "Rules for Welding and Burning" for the Department of Ports and Terminals. These rules cover requirements for safety in connection with Work on waterfront struc- tures. The Subcontractor shall comply with fchese rules at all times and keep a copy available at the site for use of his employees and others. 1.09 FIRE ACCESS TO FIRE APPARATUS A, The Subcontractor shall not interfere with access to hydrants and fire alarm boxes. In no case shall the Subcontractor's material or equipment be withi.n twenty (20) feet of a hydrant or fire alarm, box. 1.10 EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS A, If products and materials are specified or indicated on the drawings for a specific item or system, the Subcontractor shall use those products or materials. If products and materials are not listed in either of the above, use first class products and materials, subject to approval of shop drawings. B. All products and materials shall be new, clean, free of defects and free of damage and corrosion.
