B. Concrete Aggregates 1. Fine aggregate for concrete shall comply with the requirements of ASTM Specification C-33, Current Edition. It shall consist or clean, hard, strong, dur­ able uncoated particles of mineral origin, free from salt, locim, shale, clay and other deleterious matter and shall be weJi graded from coarse to fine. 2. Coarse aggregate shall comply with the requirements of ASTM Specificatiox) C-33, Current Edition. It shall consist of crushed sound stone, composed of hard, strong, durable uncoated pieces free from soft, friable, thin, ■ elongated or laminated fragments or a screened and washed bank run gravel. C. Cement 1. Cement for all concrete shai.l be Portland Cement, Type II, of United States manufacture and of an approved brand complying with the requirements of ASTM Speci­ fication C-150, Current Edition. D. Water

1. Water used in concrete shall be potable water. E. Admixtures 1. Water reducing and retarding admixtures shall be approved by the Contractor and shall meet the require­ ments of ASTM Specification C-494 F. Reinforcement

1. Bar reinforcement shall be new deformed billet steel bars. Grade 6 0 of United States manufacture conforming to the requirements of' ASIM Specification Afil5, Current Edition.
