SECTION 16030 CONCRETE FOR ELECTRICAL WORK

PART I - GENERAL A. DESCRIPTION 1. The work covered by this section of the specifi­ cations includes the construction described in­ cluding all labor necessary to perform and com­ plete such construction, c)ll materials and equip- ment incorporated or to be incorporated in such construction <and all services, facilities, tools • and equipment necessary or used to perform and complete such construction. 2. PART II - PRODUCTS A. CONCRETE 1. Concrete shall have a minimum 28-day strength of 3000 pounds per square inch,-. B. Concrete Aggregates 1. Fine aggregate shall, be clean, natural siliceous sand consisting of hard,, strong, durable, uncoated particles, and shall be free from injurious amounts of soft cr .flaky particles, shale, loam, alkali, organic matter, or other deleterious sub­ stances. It uhall contain not more than three per cent (3%) by weight of silt or other particles ca­ pable of passing through a No. 200 sieve.
