NYC 9/11 Public Portal Document

Sent out 207 letters,(less than 255 because some information was already returned for buildings in that area). 70 responses to those letters. Extension granted for another 10 respondents. Some letters received for unoccupied premises. Letter needs to be sent to those to require written notice to us that they are unoccupied and to notify the owner of facade and roof responsibilities is clean up is needed.

This information will be collated so that it can be posted on our website and will include: address, owner?, certified contractor?, whether report has been submitted by certified contractor, whether remediation was conducted or not, whether owner has filed a letter attesting that clean up was not required by conditions. Number of sampling results submitted (total) for all buildings to date. If no legal barrier, sampling information will be provided on request at cost to inquiries on individual premises. Calls from individual residents about more specific results in their building will be handled by our people to summarize sampling data unless volume is unmanageable.
