No major haz mat first response request from the FDNY forward command post. The daily ground zero monitoring for dangerous gases was negative.
Future Progress
DERTA has surveyed other areas inside the perimeter in an effort to target potential sites to be opened. DERTA does not believe that it will be possible to clear any other areas because of the close proximity to groimd zero. Major work at ground zero would have to be completed before we could reassess the feasibility of opening another area.
