Subject: RE: Declaration of Emergency - Asbestos Remediation and Air Monitoring
will the air monitoring be done by the Contractor doing the monitoring pursuant to the initial Declaration?
The one you are talking about now is the one I drafted today, re: debris removal, right?

Subject: Declaration of Emergency - Asbestos Remediation and Air Monitoring
After meeting with Deputy Commissioner Chapin regarding the above referenced Declaration of Emergency, it has
been proposed that in order to provide a more cohesive air monitoring program, in the aftermath of the WTC disaster,
that the proposed contract for air monitoring during the rooftop remediation project, include a task to continue the
current air monitoring at twenty sites in lower Manhattan. Please let us know if this effort would require any revision to
the Declaration of Emergency.
