Greetings- We will have a brief hotline meeting tomorrow morning as scheduled at 9:30 in the Queens Room at 100 Gold Street. Please bring any further information you have on the questions from the last meeting. For those of us attending the EPA task force meeting at 10:30, we can head over there together. Finally, I forwarded the question about jurisdiction over sidewalks to DOT - please see Eric's response below. —Lee ---- Original Message---- From: Kim, Eric [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, February 22, 2002 9:08 AM To: Ilan, Lee; Salkin, Andrew Subject: RE: Environ. Hotline Question

Lee, Cleaning sidewalks in New York City is the responsibility of the property owner. For example, in front of an apartment building it would be the building owner. The Department of Sanitation is responsible for enforcing that rule. Feel free to forward any other questions our way - I will see you at 1 pm and will be glad to take any that you have then as well. -eric
