Description: HVAC was shut down as quickly as possible after the WTC collapse, the building was evacuated, the elevator shafts pulled in debris during the incident. The common area HVAC is for ventilation, it is not cooled. It may be heated, but he would need to verify. Separate ventilation is present for bathrooms and kitchens.
Cleaning: All common areas and 95%-99% of apartments were cleaned.
The mechanical systems (mechanical rooms, shafts, and ducts were all cleaned in December 2001 by Tech Clean. Documentation was forwarded via fax (I submitted the package to you on November 22, 2002).
