In preparation for Friday’s assembly hearing, we would like to briefly meet to be sure that we are all on the same page. Please Join us in the Manhattan room (100 Gold St, 2 fl) tomorrow (Weds, 10 April) at 4pm, after the Task Force meeting. The plan is for a panel of the same agencies who spoke at the Council hearing last month - OEM, EPA, DEC, DEP, DOH, OSHA, DDC. If you can circulate your testimony to the group on this e-mail in advance, that would be very helpful. While we do not have specific questions from the Assembly staff, we recommend testimony focus on: 1- what's new since the last hearing in November (task forces, cleaning initiatives, the hotline, progress on the site, etc.) 2- issues we know the Assembly is interested in (e.g. ULSD, FEMA funding requests) 3- (if applicable) the status of any commitments your agency made at the November hearing 4- what message do we want to get out (overall strategy, agencies working together, etc.) State Leg. will let us know if they get more info. Thanks, and please let me know who from your agency will be there tomorrow. Lee
