At this morning's WTC Environmental Health and Safety Meeting, Assnt. Commissioner Kelly McKinney, NYC DOH, requested DEP to conduct noise monitoring at Pier 25. His office has been receiving noise complaints from area residents and elected officials. I'm told the most complaints are coming in around the evening time.
I'd appreciate it if you would keep me apprised on the status of the investigation and of your office's findings.
