ADDENDUM

COMMISSIONER’S WTC UPDATE FOR 9/30/01

• DOH has put a vehicle advisory on its website. It is included in its section on Frequently Asked Questions related to air quality following the WTC disaster.

• Freshkills Landfill - EPA has been doing air monitoring for asbestos since September 18/19. September 18/19 seems a little spotty; however, since September 20, they have been sampling twice a day. Their results are shared with OSHA, NIOSH, and State and City DOH.
