DEP/Bob Avaltroni's office, received an inquiry from a volunteer doctor who was at the WTC site regarding exposures. We believe this would be a DOH matter. Would it be appropriate to send the following e-mail to him? Thanks for your input.

Dear! PH

Your correspondence was forwarded to the NYC Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Environmental Compliance for response. The inquiry regarding exposures during your work as a volunteer physician at the WTC tragedy does not fall under our jurisdiction. The Department of Health's Office of Environmental Risk Assessment would be the area that you would need. I will forward your inquiry to them and you may also call 212 676-6323.

Hope this has been of assistance to you.
