Chris,
The angle is money. FEMA will cut off funding in March to all residents. We have
carefully negotiated a cleanup Scope of Work that takes into consideration all
characteristics associated with the building. This building had more damage than 125
Cedar Street.
They are in the process of putting in windows, getting a water tower fixed, and ultimately
ripping up the floors prior to the commencement of cleanup. We should begin our cleanup
by March 1. We will attempt to complete our work within 6 weeks. This is a building with
wealthy people who are looking to increase property values.
We are tied to the hip with FEMA and Brad has a good relationship with the NYl reporter,
Susan Jhun.
I have spoken to Charlie and given him the details. This should not at all be an anti
government story.
Bob

Chris, We will in all likelihood be getting an inquiry from NYl pertaining to the cleanup
of 114 Liberty Street (unoccupied building). As you can see. Brad has given NYl my name
as the point of contact. Do you want me to go through Charlie consistent with normal
protocol? Please advise.
Thanks, Bob
