Re: Monitoring Contractor Scope of Work f or 125 Cedar St re e t '■-f

Dear Mr. Gilsenan:

We have thoroughly reviewed the Scope of Work for the I Monitoring Contractor for 125 Cedar Street. We have the following comment .a:

The Building is described in the Purpose clause as having 5,000 - 5,000 square feet i.n total. -As you and 1 discussed, 1 believe that that reflects the square footage of each floor.

in the section on Project M rdrinc, paragraph 4 should specify a deadline the submissi: the contractor's "report.

' We note that, durim ;■ J r cor. rence csir h the EPA 1 August 14, .1002 concern the clearance standards/ Cathy ■ Callahan stated that, as part of: the asbestos testing, the^^*'s^ contractor would also record the level of short fibers; i.e. fibers of less then 5 microns in length. That is not included ;!i in the Scope. Please add that prevision.

Ke also want the Scope to provide that the contractor must use the most current and sensitive equipment and testing methods available. >» • /
