K. Completion of all work described in this document in accordance with all
procedures specified in this document and all applicable local, state and federal
regulations. All procedures to be utilized are subject to written approval by
the Environmental Consultant. No work shall proceed or be deemed
complete without the Environmental Consultant’s written authorization.
The Client shall provide;
• An electrical source and all hook-ups and stand-by
• A water source
The Abatement Contractor shall provide with his bid Material Safety Data Sheets
(MSDS) for all applicable solvents, cleaners and other volatile materials to be used during
the course of this project. Also included shall be the proposed material list and
specifications for all other materials including re-insulation substances to be re-installed
in the building.
The Asbestos Contractor shall provide with his bid a proposed equipment list, which shall
be approved by the Environmental Consultant. The equipment list shall include a
description of the equipment, the manufacturer, model number and quantity.
All materials and apparatus required for the work shall be new (except as otherwise
specified), of first quality, and shall be furnished, delivered, erected, connected and
finished in every detail, and shall be so selected and arranged as to fit properly into the
building spaces. All materials and apparatus shall be of current manufacture by a firm still
in business and listed in the firm's most recent catalogs.
All equipment and scaffolding used shall comply with the most recent safety standard and
be OSHA approved.
The Client assumes no responsibility responsible for any mis-interpretations in
contractors estimating or performance.
