units that can be immediately used in the event of the failure of one or more negative air units not resulting from a power outage or other outside cause.

E. If loss of electric power should occur, abatement shall stop immediately until power is restored.

2.8 PROJECT PHASING All proposed phasing by the abatement contractor shall be submitted to Ambient Group, Inc. with this bid (and shall be approved by the owner) prior to the start of any work for review and approval by Ambient Group, Inc. and Cushman and Wakefield, Inc.

2.9 WORKER PROTECTION All workers shall be certified asbestos handlers and shall bring to the Work Area and present for inspection each day their handler certificate, copies of documentation indicating successful completion of their initial training courses and any necessary refresher courses and copies of their most recent medical evaluation.

Asbestos Handlers entering the enclosure(s) shall: A. Remove all street clothes and don disposable suits (provided by the Abatement Contractor) at the Worker Decontamination facility, then proceed directly to the Work Area.

B. Wear appropriate NIOSH-approved HEPA filter personal respiratory equipment, as deemed necessary by the work being performed.

C. Prior to exiting the enclosure(s), handlers shall remove their disposable suit(s) and proceed directly to the Decontamination Unit shower room, where full decontamination procedures shall be performed (i.e. showering).

D. Personal air monitoring of all workers in accordance with OSHA regulations is the sole responsibility of the Abatement Contractor.

2.10 DISPOSAL REQUIREMENTS All asbestos waste including the containment plastic, all plastic sheeting utilized in critical barrier construction, disposable suits and any other debris deemed contaminated by the Environmental Consultant, shall be wet with amended water then placed in clean 6 mil plastic ACW bags. These bags shall be wet wiped and/or HEPA vacuumed. Each bag shall then be placed in an additional properly labeled, clean 6-mil plastic ACW bag and
