Health and Safety meeting

Meeting to be combined with DHC Contractor Health and Safety Mtg. 1800 hr Health and Safety meeting to be combined with DDC’s 0800 lir contractor health and safety meeting held at Ground Zero (1889). First combined meeting to be held on Monday, 11/05/01 at IS 89. second floor. Lssues pertaining to Staten Island Landfill will be discussed at the 1100 hr operational meeting held at die FBI trailer at the Landfill e’/ery' Monday, Wednesday' and Friday.

Mandatory respirator fit testmg to be required fo.r access to pile. In about three weeks, no one will be permitted on the pile without having gone through respirator fit testing. Beguming this Friday at 1:00 PM, fit testing will be provided on-site. Location to be determined. Fit testing will be open from 1:00 PM to 1 ;00 AM. Indmduals who have already been fit tested will need to present documentation to receive the appropriate ■I

New inner perimeter to be established. In addition to the newly e,$tablished perimeter, a new inner perimeter around the pile is in the works. Access to this area will require additional creden-ialing. The exact perimeter and — IKOcess/policy has not been determined. I’ll provide more information as it becomes available. I
