9/15 Samples From Air Monitors in and Around "Ground Zero"... overload - MURRAY & GREENWICH, 3 blocks N of Out of 31 analyzed - 6 were marginally above the 70 s/mm^ Ground Zero perimeter structures per millimeter squared that we use to clear schools 120.18 s/mm2 - MURRAY & CHURCH ST., 3 blocks after asbestos removal under AHERA.... One samples, taken from the "hot zone" - an area 78.74 s/mm2 - MURRAY & GREENWICH, 3 blocks accessed only by response workers - was above EPA's very N of Ground Zero perimeter protective standard of 70 s/mm^ structures per square millimeter.... While the level found in the sample was not 78.74 s/mm2 - MURRAY & CHURCH ST., 3 blocks considered high, EPA continues to advise personal protective NNE of Ground Zero perimeter equipment for the emergency response workers.
