The Ombudsro^a's report apparently Tecommends that the debris barge Priced off Vest Street, behind Swyvesaat High School, be moved and that school vendlaxion .systems be continuously clexu. ed or replaced. I believe that this report requires immediate attention. I r iUt yon to look into this mater and inform me of any health concerns dial exist for school children in Lower Manhattan. Ih addition, I would also ICce to be kept informed of the actions EPA intends to take to ensure that children attending school in Lower Manhattan are afforded the highest level of protection.
