Dear Deputy Mayor Doctoroff;
Il was a pleasure to meet with you last week to discuss our mutual interest in helping residents and businesses in lower Manhattan affected by the World Trade Center disaster.
At your request I am enclosing a list of EPA’s indoor air objectives and proposed schedule of activities for the coming weeks and months. The list notes the local, state, and federal agencies that should be involved in these activities and includes a proposed schedule for reaching each objective. As you will see, there are many projects on which 1 hope that EPA and the City can work together to complete. I’ve noted, by underlining in the attachment, a few key actions for which we need NYC support in the immediate future.
I will call you to discuss this information early next week once you have had a chance to read it. 1 believe we can share in this critical effort to give people peace of mind as they live and work in lower Manhattan. Thanks again.
